1. Costume rental (kimono, Japanese accessories, etc.)

🌿 About our tea

ITO88 tea comes from Ryota Yamamoto of Yamafuku Noen, a tea farmer who has been in the Higashiyama district of Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, for over 150 years.

The tea is carefully grown and produced by a family of eight in a mountainous area rich in nature with temperature differences.

I would be happy if I could bring you a moment of relaxation in your busy life.“

Owner’s Thoughts

I started this store in Oshino Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where my parents live.

Fuji is a place of clear spring water and nostalgic scenery, a kind of “original Japanese landscape. Oshinohakkai” is one of the most popular spots that attract many visitors from Japan and abroad. The tranquility and warmth of the place, which cannot be seen on social networking sites, are still alive today.

For many people, Oshino may be a “quick stopover”. That is why we want to deliver a piece of travel and a memorable experience during that short stay. It is with this in mind that we created ITO88.

Matcha green tea has become a trend that is attracting attention around the world, and “photo experiences” have become a value for travelers. ITO88 offers “a Japanese experience that will not only remain in your photos, but also in your heart” through its special drinks and Japanese kimono experience.

The matcha we use comes directly from a long-established tea farmer in Kakegawa, Shizuoka, who has been in business for 17 generations. The owner of this farmer is an acquaintance of mine and a trusted friend. I am very happy to have been able to give form to my wish to use tea made by the right people, made by the right people.

Each costume is carefully selected and chosen from second-hand clothing and private collections based on taste and good condition. The company also plans to introduce reused cups, and values ethical operations that are friendly to both the environment and people.
